Psalms 46:1
Have you been down in life? Have you had experiences that made you question the existence of God and if he actually cares?
Everyone in this life has had a moment(s) in which they doubted their relationship with God. Jesus Christ himself at this moment at the cross when he cried
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Mathew 27:46
So asking God where He is when you need him, is not a sign of unbelief but a mere expression of our human nature. It also shows us that we have a belief that God is able to sort out the challenges we could be facing at that moment.
Sometimes, we have expectations from God of things He did not promise us. This may alter our perception of God as an uncaring, unloving God who is not concerned with the sufferings of His people. The bible however promises us that “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2)”. Our God is a caring, loving father whose desire is that He may commune with us daily. He is our present help in times of trouble.
It happens..enough times,especially if you are waiting for something or praying for something..but I have come to learn that God is still God..no matter the situation
God is still God and He’s still in control despite the situation we are in.
